For the past ten years we have been pushing for an updated bottle bill in the legislature. The updated bill will include water, juice, and sports drinks and get 1 billion beverage containers out of our landfills and incinerators every year. However, the bil has been blocked by special interest groups and liquor lobbyists. We can't wait any longer--so we are taking this to the ballot and let the people decide.
